I don't like how the feet show within the boots. And with the plastic I would worry that my feet would start to sweat and then they would look all steamy inside. Bleh! I had shoes once that had a clear plastic around the front of my feet and when my feet started sweating it was not attractive at all!

I agree. Clear shoes don't breathe, and they show when you get sweat or dirt on your feet. Not hot. Also, no matter what they cost, clear shoes/boots always look really cheaply made to me.
