Weekly DGN hangout night?

Sooo... between posts here and some of the other social networking sites, I'm seeing posts from DGNers that they're bored, lonely, or otherwise desiring a little conversation or companionship. And it got me thinking .. what if there was an evening once a week, where people could drop into the designated (Voluntary) hosts home for an evening? They could just hang out and converse, do homework, read, whatever... but in the company of others so they didn't feel isolated or alone.

Any thoughts on this? I would be willing to host such a thing once or twice a month if a couple others could host the other weeks of the month.

Your not too far. Your halfway between my house and my girlfriends and I see her at least three times a week. I may too host if I get off my ass and clean the basement a bit.
