freydis Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 I have a HUGE collection of pictures of abandoned buildings before and after, from a book I did some work on. Quite a few are Detroit area sites. I've got them saved somewhere.... had to do a CRAPLOAD of photoshop work. Out of over 300 pics, less than a third actually ended up in the book. The publisher wanted a lot to choose from, and Harry had a LOT. Kept sending them up through the deadline...

Raev Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 I'll call you next time I go do a bit of "urban exploration". I have a legitimate blight-fetish. Like, abandoned buildings get me hotter than most males do. Odd...I know. Would any of you come to expect anything less from me at this point? That said I still have not been in an abandoned building. I know the floor plans for almost all of the big ones in Detroit. I know how to get in them. I haven't gone because nobody has ever wanted to be daring enough to accompany me. Michigan Central Station is the sexiest building I've ever seen . You seen the perfectly-shaped layout of that hot little number? :

Simon Bar Sinister Posted July 16, 2011 Author Posted July 16, 2011 ...and here's a video of exploring the pre-restoration Broderick Tower, a pic of which started this thread:
