I'm lookin' around for a pair of New Rock boots, and according to most of the size charts that I've seen, a Euro sized 46 will fit my US 13 feet. But there's one place that insists that I need a 47...does anybody here wear New Rocks, and if so, how do they fit?

I want to get it straight before I spend that kind of money. I'm such a slave to fashion.

Okay, I looked it up online.

size 46 is US Men's 13

size 47 is US Men's 13.5

The pisser of it is that for this kind of dough, I wish I could just walk down the street to the ol' shoe store and try them on first. But NOOOOOO, I gotta have a ridiculous taste in footwear and can only order them from afar.

Somebody talk me into doing it and I'll post groovy pictures when I get them.

You can try them on, and if you don't like them, just put them up on ebay.

First, I acquired my pair "used in new condition". I recall that they're a 42 or something equivalent to US 10 Mens by the numbers.

I wear a US 10.5 Mens when it comes to platform boots. They fit, but only after taking to a shoe repair place for stretching, a few weeks of baby powder and thin stripeys and a few times getting totally soaked in the rain.

So, yes, there's some leeway. Better to go larger and wear thicker socks when in doubt.

boots make me angry. I had the money to buy some kick ass one but since my limited transport only took me to the mall I could not find anything I wanted that would fit my chucnky calves. From the ankle up nothing worked. Nothing with platforms, chunky heels with straps studs and chains would fit. So I am now stuck with some used plain calve high black boots with wool inside and trying to find some shit to trip them out. :X
