so lately i have been more and more intrigued by steampunk fashion i have found sevreal websites that i am more then happy with clothing wise I.E. coats, jackets, hats, boots, jewelry and such...but i cant not for the life of me seem to locate any of the copper steam punk masks such as these....now i know they will run a pretty penny for them for they are crafted very well and look beautiful i was wondering dose anyone know were to buy one??

They're probably homemade. I don't know if anything that specialized is available on the market.

I've been reading up a little on copperworking. Doesn't look too difficult. With some bits of old leather and maybe some wood veneer, you could probably whip up something in a weekend... Copper prices are kind of high, tho...

There's a place on Mt. Elliot not too far from St. Albertus Church (yes, that one in the post-apocalyptic landscape just outside of Eastern Market) that sells roofing copper for a reasonable price. I needed some for a portatif organ.

Some of those masks look like gasmasks repainted, another challenge since very few paints stick to that rubber.

Masks arent really a steampunk thing, its more goggles. Masks are more of a graver/cybergoth thing.

Actually, muslin masks might fit the steampunk look. You wouldn't want to catch cold, would you?
