ME!

(Of course I've just narrowed the opposite sex to one person, but still)

Excuse me? If I do recall correctly...I remember see you, Stormknight, as well as a few other regular DGNers dancing to Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" at City Club last Saturday... :wink

I would choose death over dancing to that garbage! Lady Gaga is one ugly guy.

Interesting concept... so the music that you dance to is based on how attractive you find the person making the music is.... I think we can go a lot of places based on this statement. (So I am guessing Katie Perry would be a better choice to dance to...?)

Its not that bad. Its get good feedback. Not everyone appreciates or (admits)to liking it :p But, then again...not everyone has the exact same tastes.

The shocking part is they dance to it and not genuine classic gothic club anthems.

Oh well.

How about this?

hey whats up, below are some images of what I generally look for in the opposite sex and I'll explain in what order of importance.

eyes, face, expression: I practice cold reading and I tend to put quite a bit of weight in what I deduce, I think this is true of most people they just may not always know why they're getting that "vibe" about a person. of course pheromones and biological signatures/expressions and body language also play a major part. I could get into details until I'm blue in the face but in the end what I am getting at is that the first thing I look for is intrigue. things like:

does the person appear to have depth and character, is there more to them than what one would gather at a glance. If I can't look at some one and just immediately determine what role they place them selves in, in society that's a major plus. now I know this isn't clothes but I assume it still fits the over all idea and purpose of this thread and that's to tell people what interested parties may be looking for.

in the images attached the expressions of the models [in general] displays what I'm talking about. however take note that most of them are models and having a good expression is just their job so naturally the images are not a perfect example.

the second thing I look for is manner of dress. I have seen many women who I would have loved to sit down and read a book about their life or talk with them for hours but their clothes which is an expression of who they are would other wise convey that they wouldn't be interested in knowing me or that we would not be compatible long term or a variety of other things that say not to engage. I my self always like an outfit that screams creative and original [again going back to character and depth]. among other things it tells me that they are going to continue to be interesting for some time. these sort of things are the most important because I am not looking for a quick fling or something short with no future. I'm looking for someone who at least shows promise of a long future together and I assume most serious parties do the same.

[section was edited out by user due to its gross diversion from forum topic]

and a variety of other key factors in long term compatibility. I'm fairly certain most people go threw this same checklist they just do it subconsciously. take rats for example, as I understand it rats can sense disease in other rats and will not mate if they sense the other rat is infected. on a much grander scale and less absolute the same is likely true for humans who are not hooking up with only short term interests in mind.

as for clothing and for more specifics on my personal taste I like things that are either feminine, frilly and lacy or things that are bad ass like corsets and leather but not the bdsm look. more like Selene from underworld. in addition to that long gowns with a sort melancholy taste to them. there are of course an infinite number of things that would catch my eye but the more basic of these are the more established styles. past this it gets into tastes so original to name them would just be a list of peoples unique styles.

note: yes a lot of the images are halloween merchandise but the basic idea is still there.

The makeup and the hair is what does it there (well and the Jack Skellington physique)

Unfortunately its been many moons since I've had the JS physique or worn any significant amount of makeup. *looks around for a treadmill and some eyeshadow*

I have to put this out there because I'm seeing this epidemic a lot.... If you are a guy... Wear a d@%n shirt that fits you. If you want to wear baggy pants that's cool. Just don't wear pants that are so tight your privates have no room to move. But for the love of god don't wear a shirt that is five times what you should be wearing. My fiance does that because he is as thin as a twig. It annoys the ever living crap out of me. He should be in a medium and instead he wears a two X. Men this goes for all of you, if you wear a shirt that fits you, you will look better then drowning in one that doesn't.
