My painting won first place!

Despite all the negative things of recent happening I got a call from my Art Coordinator and one of the pieces I submitted to a show won first place in the county!. Now it will go on to a state wide travelling gallery and be auctioned off. I am getting $100 for coming in first place! My other piece caught alot of attention and a person who has purchased one of my pieces before of my work wants to buy it. Seems they wish to collect my work. I gotta get back to painting I just wish I had the space and stuff! I also need more canvases and paint. I really think this is the turning point in my life where it should only get better!

Thank you all and I beleive there is a photo of it in my gallery thread of My Creations. It would be the Avatar one. I really was hoping my other piece wuold have won being more original. But my coordinator said the Avatar one should go in too. Don't get me wrong its a good painting but its not original. Its a painting I did from a movie still. I wont fuss though because it won!
