Dollardave Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 He'll be condemned to drinking bleach to stay white for the rest of his life. Any guesses on Michael Jackson's fate? <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Brenda Starrr Posted June 13, 2005 Author Posted June 13, 2005 The verdict is supposed to delivered at 4:30. I swear, DD.... :laughing
Fierce Critter Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 While I believe MJ is a seriously messed-up individual who lost touch with reality many, many moons ago, I read a few magazine articles written by people who were actually in the courtroom during the trial, and it sounds to me like this was a case of someone thinking they could get rich quick off of him. I'll trust the jury's verdict more than anyone who wasn't in that courtroom.
Brenda Starrr Posted June 13, 2005 Author Posted June 13, 2005 Exactly. We don't have all the facts. They have more then we do.
SomeDanGuy Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 the main way that this affects me is that I won't be able to get any real news for like 2 days. Let the onslaught begin! Please oh please, I MUST know what every celebrity in Hollywood thinks of this case that they're not involved in!
Brenda Starrr Posted June 13, 2005 Author Posted June 13, 2005 Well, at least the Jackson family has made it into the courtroom. They need to read it and get it over with for all involved.
Brenda Starrr Posted June 13, 2005 Author Posted June 13, 2005 Count 1 Not guilty 2 Not guilty 3 Not guilty 4 Not guilty 5 Not guilty 6 Not guilty 7 Not guilty 8 Not guilty 9 Not guilty 10 Not guilty

Hellion Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 :devil This is my opinion only; I think he is guilty on some of the charges. But that is my opinion only. Other than that everyone has their own opinion.
SomeDanGuy Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 he is a sick man and needs major helpgod bless america ( being sarcastic) and he wasted alot of taxpayers money oh well .. he will be judge when his time is due <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He? Who wasted taxpayer money?
lullaby1031 Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 The only thing that I don't understand is that he knew parents would be suspicious about letting their kids sleep in his bed... I'm sorry if I think thats creepy - but come on! I think he may have done that to a few also. I was actually shocked he was found not guilty.
Marblez Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 First off, If there was any taxpayer money wasted, it was wasted by the prosecutors office, not Michael Jackson. Now, After hearing several accounts, I fully agree with the verdict. I understand the following to be true: 1. The mother had been found to have committed fraud when she sued JCPenney and was awarded $150,000. 2. The ONE child that said he was molested wavered in his testimony, it did not match that which he gave after it occurred. 3. Previously, the mother had duped a newspaper reporter into raising money to cover medical expenses when her son was sick..only for it co come out that the medical expenses were 100% covered by insurance. 4. The mother was presenting entirely new information at the trial than she had previously given police and prosecutors. 5. In one of the charges they were charging him with molesting MacAuley Culkin - MacAuley even denied that he had done so. 6. The only other child to make claims whom he had settled with in the years prior did not come to testify. Although he could have. 7. Even though they did not ask for a settlement, they were going to be open for the ability to sue him after he had been found guilty. Thus making the idea that it was obvious that they were not looking for money...moot. 8. The one apparent person to have benefitted from his incarceration (his ex wife and mother of his child) gave a glowing testimony about him being the nicest most caring person she knew and a wonderful father. She did this although they are in the midst of a custody dispute. How can this not be reasonable doubt??
Brenda Starrr Posted June 14, 2005 Author Posted June 14, 2005 Exactly. While I didn't follow the trial, the evidence is impossible to argue with. MJ has made an error in judgement by allowing these boys to sleep in his bed, but he won't be doing that anymore. Yes, he's a strange one. However, it doesn't make him a child molester. And the boy's mother should be ashamed of herself for taking so many people for such an expensive ride.
soothsayer Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 While I didn't follow the trial, the evidence is impossible to argue with. MJ has made an error in judgement by allowing these boys to sleep in his bed, but he won't be doing that anymore. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How in the hell can anyone think for even a nano second that it's normal having children at the age of 10, 11 or 12 sleep in the same bed with an adult is so utterly beyond my comprehension. That in its self is wrong. Regardless of who that adult is. Celebrity or common person does not make a hair of a difference in my book and I would bitch slap any man that wanted my child in their bed for even a min. This guy has lost all footing in reality. I will not say weather or not I think he is guilty of any of the charges brought against him because I have not followed the trial but he is clearly not mentally stable IMO.
