My favorite planes from that period are; I think it was the P51 Mustang(black sheep squadron) and the Japanese Zero.

Wrong era. These are WW1 aircraft not WW2.

I remember years ago, my brother was in the AirForce ROTC and I went to his graduation from it, and it was held in a hangar. In the hangar at the time was a C-130 cargo plane. I touched the blade of a propeller...very cool.

I was in a hobby store recently, and saw a plastic model of a plane, I think it was BC-160 Peacemaker. It was a model of an actual plane, the plane had 8 reverse mounted prop engines.
