My sister get's airbrushed all the time. When I graduated from WSU, her and my mother insisted that I get sprayed because, well, they tell me I am too pale, so, I tried it but it did not work very well. Don't think I will ever do that again.

yeah my best friend has the nature olive tone too. I am learning to embrace my fairness. I just hate when people constantly suggest that I should go to a tanning bed all the time.

I tried tanning once for my aunts wedding... I burnt in the machine... badly... I was in there for like 5 minutes.

Eck...so gross. I never go tanning...and even if I'm lying out in the sun, I'm mostly covered and it is just because it feels nice.

My cousin is really REALLY tan. Like...she changed her race.

I love her to death, but I'm afraid for her health in the future. It doesn't help that she works at a tanning salon now.

There are actually self-tanners that don't make you look orange. That Mystic Tan stuff is AWFUL. Personally, my skin tone is so blotchy, I need to use a bronzer to even it out. As for the real sun and tanning beds-- that shit will make you look OLD. I haven't had a real suntan in 18 years or so...and I look ten years younger than the broads I know, who tan all the time.

Damn I really didn't need to see all of that today...very disturbing and I hope some of those are altered...

Natural tan is the only way to go if you are gonna do something...I get a good one every summer up on the roofs that are so terribly hot...never turned orange.

And the yamanba/ganguro makeup makes it look even worse. As my MaMa used to say when silver lipstick was in style in the late '60s, "Looks like she has leprosy of the mouth or something!".

If y'all think the spray tan is bad, just remember those orange tanning pills that people took, back in the late 70s/early 80s. They made everyone look like The Thing.

Actually, these days I'm probably lighter than I should be as I don't get enough sun.
