TheOsakaKoneko Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 (edited) Aww, I guess it had to happen sometime. God save the blimey bastard. XD You know, it's funny, but at first I was like, yeah yeah, Malcolm McLaren died, yeah yeah... But you know, the more I think about it...where would we be without this one man, this one man who didn't even make music himself? He had such a huge influence on everything...and the things he did have influenced everything that's come since. It's really crazy to think about. Where would music be? Where would fashion be? Where would all of our modern culture be, if this one little man hadn't existed? Okay whoa sorry, not sure where that came from! XD Edited April 9, 2010 by TheOsakaKoneko

The relative indifference to this news kinda left me disheartened and reminded me why I used to have such a big mouth here. Either people don't remember or they never realized the mark he made and just how significant it is. One part P.T. Barnum, one part Svengali and things would never be the same again.
TheOsakaKoneko Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Fuck YEAH. This is the way I want to go out. Having lived a long and fulfilled life, death is not a sad thing but instead a celebration of an amazing life and amazing accomplishments. Can you imagine? Rather than a dark depressing funeral, a fucking party in the motherfucking STREETS. I watched this and literally tears came to my eyes. Fucking amazing. Fuck, tears came to my eyes as they sang "and did it my way"...fucking LOVE.
