So I've spent a lot of time talking to Troy this past week, and yesterday he came over to my place and we got some taco bell and we talked about everything from the United Chess Federation rankings to City Club to college radio to girls.

As I was talking to Troy it really hit me that this world is a better place with Troy in it. I am lucky that I can now call Troy my friend.

I met the infamous Troy Spiral a few years ago at a bar just before seeing an opera. He's a wonderful guy, super nice, great smile, hearty full laugh, and a super super big heart which knows no end of kindness to people he barely even knows.
