Fierce Critter

Watched this last night.

I did enjoy it. It was definitely different. Very much enjoyed the storyline, as well as the visuals.

I was kinda annoyed by the goings-on outside of the interactions between Jim Carrey & Kate Winslet. I think they could have handled that part of the plot line with a little less clutter. Rant-On.gifI mean, what is Kirsten Dunst trying to prove with her non-bra-covered nipples in every freaking movie she makes? Is it some kind of "I'm a big girl now, not the little girl from "Interview With the Vampire" thing or something?Rant-Off.gif

Anyway, recommended - to open-minded movie watchers.

Extras include commentaries, making-of, etc.

I enjoyed the movie a lot, but I absolutely hated what Kristen's character did at the end. Also, I wanted to rip my hair out at Kate's characters because I was so thoroughly annoyed. I did not understand how Jim Carrey's character could put up with someone like that. She never stopped being pissed off at him. I left the movie not knowing if I liked it or if I didn't. But, I do recommend seeing it.

Mindscrew concept movies have always held a special place in my heart. This one certainly fit the bill. The settings are interesting, the macinations of the characters are dramatic and dynamic. The way that what would have been a routine event in the lives of these people can turn into a spectacular web of intrigue, where some of the deceit is clouded in amnesia.

Another movie this reminded me of was Memento (Some memories are best forgotten.) Another mindscrew sort of "revalation" movie. Where things may make a sort-of-sense in the beginning, but it builds like a puzzle whose pieces weren't visible until they are snapped into place. A changing picture.

Memory.

A most beautiful playground.

I also enjoyed Memento for that.

Uh, I know I saw it but....I sorta have a sleep/nerve type disorder and cannot really watch movies. I fall asleep. If it doesn't really peak my interest and that would take allot.

I think I fell asleep on this one.
