Game 5

I can't remember the percentage...but its obscenely high for a team to win a series if they win game 5. Haven't checked the line...but the Pistons looked pretty invincible the last 7 quarters or so. Good thing Ben Wallace finally came to play, I guess his wife had to talk to him. This should be the best game this year. Thoughts? Predictions?

Agreed. I think the Pistons are on high octane right now since they shut down San Antonios main guard and star player. I predict Pistons will utilize this home game to take the lead and take the championship home again.

Why is it that everyone seems to assume the Pistons will loose? I mean even after they won the playoffs last year, everybody acted like it was blind luck... I mean everyone was SO SURE, the Lakers were the end all be all... and then the Pistons won, and now it seeems like the same thing... It is strange to me that people treat the Pistons like the underdog even though they happen to be the world champions.

Personally I think its because of the image that Detroit has. No one cares for the city and the mayor isn't helping it much with his personal vendettas and misuse of city money. He was named the 2nd worse mayor in the nation. Detroits image of being bad boys never helps them look like winners.

You're telling me... Last year, myself and a couple of other people were playing djembes in the mess of people that was downtown Royal Oak after we won. Directly in front of us was a 10-15 foot circle cleared out so that people could break dance and freestyle to the beat. (helicopters an' everything, it was the shyt :woot: ) We also had people dancing from within what must've been a 30-40 foot radius. It was friggin' awesome, and I definitely want to do it again this year. I think I made something like 20 bucks from people just handing us money, and this year I have my own drum. We were at the corner of Fourth & Main in front of Caribou Coffee if any one remembers it.

Good game though..... detroit almost pulled it through ... if they just wouldnt have left Horry open with 16 secs left to go in the game, but then again i was suripized that it even went in to over time , I was sure duncan had that dunk there at the very end of the 4th but he just fucked up lol .... but its ok i must have faith ..... Not to be a hater or anything...but Detroit hasn't won in San Antonio since 1995. The Spurs only lost 3 games at home all year. It will be tough for then to win two in a row.
