I really want to go but doubt I'll have the energy to make the drive... plus I can't afford a room & staying w/my mom means hanging out for an extra day or 2 to make her happy... *sigh*... life is so complicated when you're pretending to be a grownup... we need to get a capitol area CC carpool going...

I won't be there.  I'm going to be out in the wilderness, fending off bear attacks.

1. What's the best way of getting there from the Renaissance center? Is it safe to walk?

2. What's with the no cell phone thing? (I can understand no drugs, spikes, etc)

I would say it's a bit far to walk from the RenCen- take a taxi. Hell I would come & get you if I were going (esp. after seeing yr pics- you're gorgeous!) I wouldn't worry about safety, downtown is like a giant donut shop since the casinos opened... but it is a hike, and a fairly confusing one if you're not familiar w/downtown.

I've been told the cell phone ban is to avoid people taking pics of all the scantily clad young lovelies & thereby exposing the club to potential litigation. It's all good tho, the coat check is cheap & stress-free. They even let me check the knife I forgot was in my purse last week.

Sorry I also will not be in attendence this weekend due to the fact that i have to work until 2am and then be back at work at 830am (can we say that sucks???) Besides i've been spoiled by going the past like 6 weeks. However my little newbie friend will be there and so all that have met him please watch out for him.

I'll probably have the DGN cards with me per usual.  Can always use addtional help getting the word out about the board if anyone wants to help.  The cards make it easy you can just stuff one in somones hand and they dont have to try and remember the site name the next day after the hangover wears off hah.

2. Its a bizzare construction of one of the managers. Cell phones ARE allowed in other areas of the ramada inn and the labyrinth (a smaller club in the ramada)
