Another hard to find B movie

[Hellion]

:devil This not the actual title name; I do not know the name of this old B flick; but all I remember is the plot because it was a very long time ago. I know it was made in the 70's. The plot is about four or five poeple who take a boat trip to an island called Logans Island. They get on to the island and later on they find out the boat engine craps out. there's a cabin that they stay at that ends up being their safe zone. Awhile later one of their friends dissapears and they cannot find him; all they find is his coat and thats it. A third of the way through the movie they hear the captain yell for no apparent reason and go running to see what all the commotion is about. They see something running towards them screaming and making odd noises. The other poeple run back to the cabin and barricade the door; but the creatures is gone. The next day they go back to the the boat and all they find is the captains hat. I don't remember all the details; but I remember one part where one of the mud monsters gets his hand cut off and one of the guy's saves it. He accidently spills salt water on the claw hand and it bursts into fire! Then all of a sudden one of the things tries to bust its way into the cabin; the one guy tries to hide in the basement after barricading another door. It finally gets in and kills him. towards the end of the movie; the remaining people are trying to set a trap to catch these creatures at night;when all of a sudden two of them come busting out of the forest and start chasing them. The one person jumps to the side in the bushes. The other guy is still being chased until he comes to a cliff; he then jumpsup to grab a tree branch and tries to get away from them; as the mud creatures get to the area they slip of the edge of the cliff and burst into a ball of fire. I beleive that this how the movie went; but Im not sure. It was a long time ago. If anyone has seen or have heard of this B movie; let me know; it would bring back some good old memories. sounds like a classic... don't think I've seen it, altho the salt water on the hand sounds vaguely familiar. I may be thinking of "Horror of Party Beach", tho. I'll ask my brother, if anything he's even more of a B-flick freak than me.

heh horror on party beach was the one where the toxic waste gets to the fishies and they become huge monsters with hot dog looking things hanging out of their mouth ahhhhhhh another mst3k classic
