Dammit, someone beat me to it but I was going to say Disturbed. Any/every song that I have ever heard by them sounds exactly the same. I hate the singer's voice, it's fucking annoying. Drowning Pool is another band I can't stand. I am sick of hearing "let the bodies hit the floor"....

I know I'm going to get some hate for this but the Rolling Stones how many times can you release the same album over and over before people get the hint that the only thing different about each album is the artwork and name. Disturbed, Styx, Journey, Slipknot, Lady gag me Gaga, Korn, Pink Floyd, YES, and all those boy bands that are trying to come back do us all a favor and stay gone.

When I saw the title of the thread the first name that came to my mind was Nickelback! I totally agree with Hinder and The Stones but I love Korn and Disturbed is ok. Oh, and I just saw The Guess Who on someone's list and love them too. Listening to their greatest hits cd automatically transports me mentally to sitting on a dock Up North MI on a hot summer night looking at the midnight sky with a roaring fire nearby. That was the first time I heard most of their songs and I will always associated them with that weekend.

Music has such strong emotional ties to me that I tend to judge musicians on how "fake" or "genuine" they sound emotionally. Nickelback for example is just so superficial, when you hear it you can't hear any real emotion and you can almost hear the "cha-ching".

Pretty much anything hardcore punk, country, futurepop, poppy hip hop, most of the current wave of indie music (i.e. Arcade Fire-ripoffs).

Oh, and black metal, and ska, and non-James Brown soul, and progressive rock.

Any genre that ends with either "-core" or "-billy" pretty much sucks.

This whole 8-bit disco craze (ala Crystal Castles) better not live long.

Current EBM is SHIT! Fuck Combichrist the hardest of all those assholes.

Amidst all this hatred, one band stands head and shoulders above all in my malice:

They represent any and all possible loathsome aspects that a band can possess (Short of being skinhead punks.)
