I disagree with Wolfsheim and CS.

Me too. For two different reasons

I get everyone's exhaustion with Wolfsheim, or can accept that people think they're too weak, but they're definitely talented.

As for Cinema Strange, they have to be played to become overplayed. It's not like you hear them ( or any other death rock band) every day.

No shit! I'm sorry, but Pink Floyd is one of the most talented bands of all time.

Their music is somehow mainstream and countercultural, pop and yet antisocial at the same time.

You had Bauhaus and Siouxsie and Sisters of Mercy and The Cure and Depeche Mode, that there was plenty of room for The Damned and 45 Grave and Christian Death and Alien Sex Fiend.

Nowadays, death rock really doesn't get it's due as much as it should since goth is more underground and what's popular is stuff like Combichrist
