Anyone else ski or snowboard? I don't want to plan some "official" get together, I already have four of those (two independant, two co-hosting). I just want to glide down a hill really fast standing on some pressed plastic edged with metal.

If I pick a date in January, probably the first or second week, anyone think they might be interested?

And Pine Knob sucks, it's for little kids. I want to hit up at LEAST Holly, maybe further, but with my budget probably Mt. Holly. I haven't been there since I was 9.

Indeed. I've never really had the means to leave Michigan and slide down the side of a real mountain *sad face*. Maybe someday :confused: .

I saw Brighton used the snow machines to get its ski hills ready and people were using them now.

      About to head up to Roseville to return this rental and pick up my truck from the auto shop.  It is supposedly sporting a newly fabricated frame rail...I don't think they are referred to as "chassis" anymore as I see the confusion in shop owner's eyes when they ask me if I'm looking for "body work?".   But I do find it interesting that I told the owner that I worked direct with OEM parts and yet he still wrote me up an invoice with overpriced OEM parts from companies I used to host at the place I used to work for.  With that said, I'm expecting a stellar job for the amount I paid.   ...else, there will be some talk negotiations.

      ~~~~~ Definitely wishing you luck.  Do enjoy yourselves.   But I have to admit, the first thing that came to mind was does roadside assistance reach the desert? 😬
      ~~~~~ Yeah, it's like something happened to my metabolism this past Winter and when I came out of hibernation, that AARP Join Request started looking like something to check into.

      This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...
