You ever meet someone thru this website who you liked, maybe started out as a crush and then it turned into a relationship? I know of 3 or 4 DGN "couples".

How did it happen?

Where are you now with that person?

By the way, I am not talking about having a boyfriend or girlfriend and then turning them onto DGN, I mean have you met someone BECAUSE of DGN?

It's funny, but I started coming onto DGN because it was somewhere most of the people I know did/would not go. I thought I "sort of" met my SO on here, but I was in reality set up by a long-time friend who thought we would be perfect together - and they were right!

3 or so years ago we would flirt a bit on here, but nothing unusual about that

I met him at CC one night and talked for a few minutes. He later told me that was when he "knew I was the one" or something like that...or at least "Heheheh!! she's a cutey...hehe" :fear

A few weeks later another friend of mine called and asked me if I wanted to do lunch in between classes. I said "OK - sounds good...meet you at EMU's library to head out."

Standing outside was my friend and my future SO (I didn't now he was a grad student at the same Uni as me). He was coming along too and asked to hitch a ride with one of us. My friend said "Oh, I'm out of room" sp I said "Sure no prob!".

We would go out to lunch once or twice a week in a big group - 6-8 people every time. Sometimes we would talk, sometimes not (i was not sure I liked him all that much at first as he is pretty intense - LOL!)

After awhile fewer and fewer people would show. One day - it was just us two.

I remember looking around annoyed that nobody else had showed. I did not realize *DUH* that they had stopped inviting the other people. So we had lunch anyway and hit it off quite well.

After a few months I realized that he was a perfect match for me - he could not have been a nicer person. This has proved true over our relationship as he always stands by me through anything with grace and good humor.

It has been 2 1/2 years and things are going very well. *happydance*

Exactly what she said... but from the other point of view <smile>.... oh and she left out how cool I am!

Sometimes (very rarely :whistling ) I am "too funny" and it annoys the crap out of her... but I guess thats a small issue in the grand scheme of things.

I think we are really great for eachother and have lots of fun being with each other and thats about the most important thing in a relationship.

I didn't really meet Drew through DGN. At least, not directly. We were both registered here and posted a decent amount, but never "talked" to each other here. We met later at Luna, (almost) completely by chance.

Yes. This happened a couple years ago. We dated for awhile and it was a good experience.

It didn't work out in the end for several reasons but it is a pleasant memory.
