Soulrev Posted June 24, 2005 Posted June 24, 2005 There's an anime cartoon that airs I think on Cartoon network after Midnight (1 am eastern).. Not sure the name to be honest, my friend Rob watches it and I usually hang out in his room and watch it.. It's pretty interesting, great artwork too I just love to watch it.. It's about these two guys and a girl, one is a samurai and the other two are fighters as well.. I'll ask Rob the name of it later..
Slept with ghost Posted June 24, 2005 Posted June 24, 2005 i think that would either be samurai champulo(spelling may be way off) or lupin the 3rd
pomba gira Posted June 24, 2005 Posted June 24, 2005 Never been a big TV watcher (except as a cub)... nowadays I miss shows I like just 'cos it doesn't occur to me to turn on the TV. & it's so hard to even keep track of nowadays... it was a lot easier w/only 5 channels to deal with! but let's see: NOW Robot Chicken Aqua Teen Hunger Force Venture Brothers Trigun Cowboy Bebop Reno 911 Fullmetal Alchemist The Oblongs MythBusters (not sure of the name- the 2 FX guys who try to prove or disprove urban legends?) Mesquite Rodeo Mad TV THEN (anything more than 5 yrs ago) Simpsons I Love Lucy Gilligan's Island Addams Family Lost in Space Get Smart My Mother the Car Kolchak the Night Stalker Hot L Baltimore Starsky & Hutch Baretta Teletubbies The Price is Right MTV back when they still played actual music videos, esp. "120 Minutes" & "Headbanger's Ball" Liquid Television Jackass Aeon Flux The Ghoul Dark Shadows Kimba the White Lion Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies cartoons but mostly the Tex Avery ones Midnight Special Don Kirshner's Rock Concert Soul Train Saturday Night Live (original cast) sigmond and the sea monsterslidsville HR puff and stuff <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Damn we used to love those Sid & Marty Krofft shows... Remember The Krofft SuperShow, w/the Kiss clone band? & I had the biggest crush on the kid from "Puf'n'Stuf"... I remember asking my mom what you should do if you were in love w/someone you'd never meet... For some strange reason the theme song from The Banana Splits has been running thru my head for the past week. What can it mean? & SoulRev, sounds like you're talking about Samurai Champloo... I haven't caught it yet but supposed to kick ass...
Soulrev Posted June 25, 2005 Posted June 25, 2005 Yeah I found out it is Samurai Champloo.. It's an awesome show, I really love the artwork it's amazing, and the story lines aren't bad at all.

pomba gira Posted June 25, 2005 Posted June 25, 2005 partriage family (no clue how to spell that! I tried 3 different ways then gave up!) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ah, another child of the '70s... all the sitcoms are on TVLand but the Krofft shows are a dead giveaway! & since you asked (kind'a), it's Partridge... one of the few "family" sitcoms I've ever liked. For some reason family sitcoms almost always piss me off.
