Other alternative DANCE clubs

It doesnt have to be goth/industrial, because when it comes to that, CC and Necto are the only current DANCE clubs. Northern Lights is a great lounge, but people who know me, know I actually really enjoy DANCING. I would prefer goth/industrial, but it doesn't look like that is in the cards currently...any thoughts or ideas? I feel the need to dance.

...I just remembered "Plastic Passions" but that is only a monthly thing, as was gone for a few months.

I have no local suggestions on the non-goth front. You might have some luck in Toledo or Grand Rapids though.

In conjunction with the Rideboard, I have a list of Goth, Industrial, New Wave, etc dance nights across the entire state of Michigan. I try to keep it up to date. I'm sure it's possible that there may be something I have missed, so feel free to send me additions or corrections.

They did have a dance spot though. Wasn't big at all, but it was still danceable in.

-Clutch Cargos: (Pontiac's version of Wyandotte Street in Windsor)

-Club 22 in Shelby Township

-The Bank in Mount Clemens (awesome place to dance and chill on a beautiful summer night)

-BLEU in Detroit (just discovered it's back up and running)

My mom goes to boogie fever so there is no way I would go there, lol.

I thought club blue was a top 40 bar :/

Im pretty sure there are not any goth places that are within driving distance that are in canada, actually the only club I even knew about closed a few years ago (savage garden)

The last time I was there, Notorious BIG was being played on "Retro Night." They were also putting on a Lady Gaga dance show for said "Retro Night."

Luna is nine kinds of jocks wrapped in cheerleaders, that's what. I got..get this...OUTCASTED on goth night and shunned by everyone there (who ALL happened to be preppy). Pointed at and LAUGHED at for being goth on GOTH night. It was overrun years ago and we weren't able to get the territory back after that (along with the rest of Royal Oak, like the Corner and shit).

Yup. Never been in it. Only The Loop up top. They dont have many "Goth: nights there from what I hear.... Just different events.

I really wish a Friday/Saturday event would take hold and grow at iLounge in Clutch Cargos. Perfect dark/red/decadent atmosphere, decent size, clean... There have been attempts to start things there but they fizzle out quickly.
