So I am trying to lose weight. I hate the gym and the usual routines. I was curious what others thought of the whole Zumba concept? Also, how would you feel about a Zumba industrial fitness sort of night for people that wanna lose weight or just have fun?

Thank you for any responses

Sounds fun. I hate the gym too which is why I'm still going to The Fighting Fit.

I thought this was going to be about that little Mexican restaurant in Royal Oak.

Reminds me of Punk Fitness Detroit before Julie passed away. I like the idea of an unconventional workout with music I like.

I love Zumba! :) It's awesome. And fun! I've taken classes for years. it's actually really easy once you learn the steps.

My sister started taking Zumba to get back in shape after she gave birth to twins. It worked wonders for her and she really enjoys it.

haha I thought of that too but had a feeling it wasn't going to be about that place because it's in the health and wellbeing section. seems interesting because its dance oriented.

Mexican food sounds good right now.

I <3 Zumba..both the restaurant and the dance fit workout. I took some classes when I went to lifetime, and the hour long class felt like a fun filled night of dancing at the club..sans the drinks. ;)

They need something like Zumba, but instead of latin stuff it needs to be breakdancing-related...just sayin'.
