Hellion Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 :devil I remember the days when KISS dolls were the craze back then: Istill have mine! When I was a kid green army men were fun. I musta gone through millions of them back then. I would put them in cardboard buildings I made then set the thing on fire and watch them evaporate. Lego's were cool. The Green machine, took it down a ravine and it was never the same again. RC car racing. Who did't have a big wheel. Tansfomers; Go-bots, Even Happy meal toys were awsome years ago, until someone choked to death on one and McDonalds got sued. Tonka toys, When they were made of steel. Even lunch boxes were steel at one time until kids at school were getting smashed over the head with them; I might have done that. Basically these were some of the best things to have when I was a kid.
Mikielikesit Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 Cool toys....GUNS and HOT WHEELS and GI JOE's...oh also tonka s and my bike was a big thing for me...frizbee and lawn darts were cool..of course army men and playing destroy all monsters with them and dinosaurs
Mistress Mercy Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 I miss My Pet Monster........i need to find me one again lol
The_Dark Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 How odd. I was just talking last night with some friends about toys we loved as kids. These two kicked ass: and I had 3 of these Shogun warriors. I also miss my 12" GI Joes, 12" Bionic Man action figures and my 12" Battle Star Galactica figures.
Homicidalheathen Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 Lincoln Logs! Matchbox cars.....real metal ones. Old atari ha. Now that I can say they have improved but like you, I hate all this cheap plastic crap that breaks. Lego's have gotten better but are expensive as heck now and so specialized. I have a collection of all of the primal rage beasts in my studio heh heh.... :devil I remember the days when KISS dolls were the craze back then: Istill have mine! DisturbedMania Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 Anything I could use for military training. I used to like playing boot camp and trying to make damn near impossible things for all the kids to try to do in record time. I coulda been a General if I wasn't a pacifist!
kellygrrrrrl Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 I loved to play school with my stuffed animals, and I like playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Tutles and GI Joe with my brothers
LadyWindstone Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 I remember playing baseball in the lot next to my house using an old broken wiffle ball and a stick. We used cushions off old couches to make bases. That was fun. I got the poor people's Barbie. I tore the heads off those lol. My mom wasn't too happy about that. I had a doll that would cry. My mom went to pick it up and noticed that it was a lot lighter then it should have been. She opened it up and the batteries were gone. She asked me why i took the batteries out and I told her "It was too noisy!" :blink I had a boy's big wheel. Tore the sidewalks up with that thing. Sit-n-spins were awesome. Using my Tricycle as a scooter cause i was too big to sit and ride it anymore. Hearing my mom start yelling cause she stepped on a lego hidden in the carpet. hehe. Making camoflage tents out of popsicle sticks and paint. Just cause i could. Making mud pies. Using my grandmother's pans. Making a drum kit out of the pots and pans and lids and wooden spoons for sticks. Gods, I could go on forever with all the fun I had as a kid.

Scary Guy Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 STAR WARS!! I have the Millinium Falcon, X-wing, Darth Vader's Tie Fighter, the White Tie Fighter (with pilot), Land Speeder, Yoda, R2-D2, (all originals, R4-D5, and a Death Star gunner (newer toys). I used to be the lego king too for a whlie. Newer 90's crap, none of the good old 80's legos (except the space station rocket launch pad). Oh yeah and the original Blacktron, and the next incarnation of them which was the Ice and (great I can't even remember the name). I had the Monorail, a space police ship, a magnatron ship, some of the newer blacktron, Pirate ship and Island Oh yeah, I had the police station and the shell station, I think those were my first two sets ever. Aw crap how could I forget the airport too? AND the spacepad (first versions). I even had one head guy who controlled everything and was god of the world (and my own little avatar I guess) called Black, dressed in nothing but black with a cape and helmet, and sunglasses heh. Now I just play with Tortured Soulss and my Lamenent puzzle box. Oh yeah and as for video games I have all the roms for everything, and I still have an Atari. I also agree with the metal cars. Kinda like the real world ones, metal was better. Other things I loved were my Etchiskech (sp?) the other one that used magnets, my microscope, and Robie Sr. from Radio Shack (which I sitll have sitting in a corner). Armatron too which I eventually hacked apart cause the controller broke and wired everything up manually.
