The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy

This show rocks!

I watch it with my 8 year old (good excuse, eh)? heh heh

How to explain ... The show is about the Grim Reaper and two kids, Billy and Mandy (weird I know, but it rocks I tell ya)

stolen from a TV review site

"As Billy plays with his action figures, Mandy approaches and requests to see Mr. Snuggles. It's his birthday, and in hamster years has grown pretty old - in fact, to old to go on, so proven by the appearence of the Grim Reaper. But they won't let him have him! So he makes a bet with them. They play a game and if he wins, he gets the hamster. And if he loses, they keep the hamster - and him too"

They play limbo and the reaper loses, therefore has to stay and be Billy and Mandy's friend. (and the Reaper has an awesome Jamaican accent)

My all time favorite episode is where the uber-kewl Mandy falls in love with this cool new kid at school. She hates being in love.

She goes to Grim and says "Grim, I want you to cut out my heart". He agrees, but when he finds out why he tells her that's easy to fix. Mandy gets a makeover, the new kid falls at her feet and suddenly she can not stand him.

Funny how some cartoons seem geared more toward adults these days, but my kid likes it too.

I miss Courage the Cowardly Dog though. I want that show back.

I just mentioned this today someplace. This is my all time new fav cartoooon!! Did you see the one where the kids parents get turned into bikers from hell? It looks like a rob zombie video lol.

Also, Fosters home for imaginary freinds. It has a scardy cat biker monster.

Oh and rocko's modern life. I think it was designed after me.

I didn't see that one, but I saw the one where they become rockstar wanabees (well Billy's dad and him anyhow) from the musical episode. The song Purple Filth played was actually the band SPF 1000 (most people would remember their remix of Haunted House or the song that went "Dead dead dead, kill kill kill kill" some years ago.

Off that same episode was the brain eating meteor thing. The song was done by Voltiare and I almost shit a brick when it came on because A. I LOVE his work and B. I had heard it before off of one of his CDs.

Oh yeah and the voice of both Billy and his dad are done by the guy who did Zim on Invader Zim, that guy is tallented.

billy and mandy rocks and the guy who did the voice for zim also did one of the voices for the 2 angry beavers show now that one was classic

So I am not a weirdo for leaving Cartoon Network on all day and night? Cool. My boys come running when Billy and Mandy comes on. But I have also gotten them into Invader Zim and Nightmare Before Christmas. Listening to Teen Titans right now.

::dances and sings out loud to himself:: T E E N T I T A N S TEEN TITANS LETS GO!!!!

I also love hihi puffy aumi yumi if only because the only reason they got the cartoon was because they did the theme for teen titans

YES!!!! Gotta sing along with them every time. I wish they did the voices on their show so I could sit there and try to figure out what they are saying. They are super cute.

I like billy and mandy, but I wish they still called is "Grim and Evil." It seems so much more innappropriate then.

Do they even still have the mexican brain in the bears belly?

Heh, they still run those on occasion. Grim & Evil was actually two shows (kinda like Garfield & Friends). Evil Con Carne was the 2nd half of it. I also wanted (Major) Dr. Ghastly, a girl with a brain is awesome.

More info on that.

lol, yeah, I couldn't remember his name, but I remembered the two show split, sorry I wasn't clear. I've been in a small unventilated room with hair bleach for a while tonight. :doh

I just saw on the episode tonight they had Hecter do a cameo in the jail cell.

BTW the beginning of that episode had a reference to The Talking Heads, which I thought was funny.

i still don't get why the duck had a WW1 style german helmet on.
