In this thread...

Link to bad movies you've seen on Netflix (either instant or DVD).

Some stipulations:

1. The films must be in the "so bad it's good" category. In other words, there should be some comedic value that the filmmaker did not perhaps intend.

2. You must have actually seen the film. No posting long lists of movies with campy titles that you can't personally vouch for.

3. No MST3K videos! That's cheating.

4. Please list the title of the film, along with a link to its page on netflix.com. Thumbnail is optional. :)

To start us off, I recommend:

Night of the Lepus

I do so much homework before I watch a movie in the last 7-8 years that I rarely see an actually "bad" movie anymore. In days of yore I used to go out of my way to find them but its been awhile. *ponders*

Something like Battlefield Earth is actually "good" compared to the garbage I think we are looking for since there is a disernable plot and fairly good effects.

My test for "really bad" is that I either could not, or just barely was able to sit through the thing. Even say, Plan 9 is tollerable (barely) on that score.

One i thought sucked to bad to even finish was (although I did finish it , by letting it run while i read an issue of Fangoria and glanced up at it):

Monster A Go-Go

Netflix is a great resource, but if you are not actually a member, as far as I'm aware you cant get to the listings, so its limited to a fairly small sub set of readers.

IMDB, while not nearly as slick, is probably a better choice if you want to link to movie info other than just "the summary".

GI Joe. I knew it was gonna be bad. I didn't know it was gonna be that bad.

My link

I mean, so bad that I felt like I had comitted child abuse by letting my daughter watch it.

The one redeeming feature of the film? Snake Eyes. Only because he entered the loop in my hypothetical question "Who wins in a fight: Predator or Boba Fett?" Snake Eyes kills them both.

I feel dirty just admitting this to ya'll.

Pink Angels was epically bad. Early 70s, cross dressing biker flick.

I took a girl on our first date to see that movie and it brought us together....we both hated it and wondered at what point the movie was actually over.

as simply a bad movie I would list it but according to the rules set in the first post I would not.

It isn't as bad as Dracula 3000 but like that movie it has no redeeming qualities.

"so bad it's good" is a redeeming quality.

Now wile you may think it is "so bad it's good" up to the point you mentioned it no one else considered it thus answering your question. By the way you neglected to complete rule 4.

Netflix link: Mega Shark Versus Giant Octopus

Sequel if you can call it that: Mega Shark vs. Crocosaurus

No need to call names when I was only answering your question.

After all when one asks that question it would be assumed that they believe that the majority would agree with them.

Who is the idiot now?

Never mind, your personality would still claim it is me.

One question, is either English or American English your native language?

I'm a bit confused, because I read and re-read and didn't notice that Nocker asked anything at all.... Maybe I missed something. And I'm also confused as to how his movie didn't qualify for the thread . What does American English or British English have to do with the topic at hand? SO many questions...

I'm either slow, I missed something, or maybe it's a mojito of both...?

I tried to watched SNMD 3 times. I have absolutely no recollection of it. It is my Yellow Submarine. If I fail again then it will become my new lullaby.
