The human race is doomed to destruction. The sun in a few billion years will go supernova destroying all life on earth and earth itself.

so why are we not finding and terraforming a planet at a safe distance?

will we wait til the last second? so basically this all boils down to....whats the point to anything?no matter what we do here its all going to be burned to shit.........
