Strange But True Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 electronics? What sort? What does that actually entail? Books? Like which? OK, aviation electronics I was in the navy. Worked both directly on aircraft and in a support position at an intermediate maintenance facility. Basically, the squadrons break the parts, remove them and send them to us for repair. I also was a qualified solder technician, through hole, surface mount, board repair, splices, hook relays, etc... You name it As far as books go I like classics and sci-fi. Right now I’m reading The Call of Cthulu and Other Dark Tales.

I used to read sci fi and classics like a maniac probably up until just maybe the last 10 years or so (I'm 37) I've sort of shifted to science and history (mostly American military /WWII history) non-fiction (although I did read Red Mars / Blue Mars / Green Mars fairly recently... awesome "hard sci fi" series) You'll find a lot of sci fi nerds like us around here. *plots to keep you around and get your take on more topics* *points all around*
