Just curious as to what some of the most original films are that you have seen recently... discuss.

The Piano Tuner Of Earthquakes was the last one for me, interesting but omg was it slow...

"Me and You and Everyone We Know" Oddball romance. Touching in a totally quirky way. I mean, you know it's sincere, but you're a little embarrassed for it.

Puppet- an amazing film my David Soll. I saw it over at Dreamland Thearter in historic downtown Ypsi.

It made me long to see Disfarmer- the show in which it is based around. It was amazing and I highly recommend it to anyone with a love for puppetry <3

*takes notes*

I haven't enjoyed many movies in years now. Maybe these will help break my movie boredom.

Of course.

You know, I often wonder what his Dune would turned out like- so many things and peole I love all

wrapped into one film. I think it would have been better than David's - and I don't type that statement lightly.

I own

Holy Mountain

El Topo

Fando and Lis

and ive seen Santa Sangre. I would say I enjoy his films, although they arent ones I can watch often.

On a side note, I think Santa Sangre is the most over rated out of the ones I have seen.

Yeah... he doesn't have that many... I have seen all of the above accept Santa Sangre (only parts of it).

Those movies are hard to watch often... but when I do... I usually get something out of them.

      About to head up to Roseville to return this rental and pick up my truck from the auto shop.  It is supposedly sporting a newly fabricated frame rail...I don't think they are referred to as "chassis" anymore as I see the confusion in shop owner's eyes when they ask me if I'm looking for "body work?".   But I do find it interesting that I told the owner that I worked direct with OEM parts and yet he still wrote me up an invoice with overpriced OEM parts from companies I used to host at the place I used to work for.  With that said, I'm expecting a stellar job for the amount I paid.   ...else, there will be some talk negotiations.

      ~~~~~ Definitely wishing you luck.  Do enjoy yourselves.   But I have to admit, the first thing that came to mind was does roadside assistance reach the desert? 😬
      ~~~~~ Yeah, it's like something happened to my metabolism this past Winter and when I came out of hibernation, that AARP Join Request started looking like something to check into.

      This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...
