wormsinwombs Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 I'm going to be super cliche and say jack and sally
Tyger Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Nope. that always seemed wrongwrongwrong to me, Hermione should've been with Harry. now these two were so cute together: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5WxDdz-Anls I definitely dont agree with the Hermione with Harry. Harry def belongs with Ginny. But I totally agree with you about the Lady and the Tramp. SO CUTE!
Guest Megalicious Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 The few books that come to mind: Freddy and Kitty - Cotillion Roland and Susan- The Dark TS. Movies: Joel and Clementine - ESSM TVish Dr. Horrible and Penny Starbuck and Apollo Just off the top of my head.
phee Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Starbuck and Apollo The funny thing is that works for either series of BSG.

Harry and Ginny is so stupid. It's total Oedipus, like helloooo your mom had long red hair and you're marrying this bitch with red hair that looks pretty much exactly like your mom and she's the blandest character and a total mary sue. CONGRATS HARRY, YOU'RE THE WORST CHARACTER IN YOUR OWN FUCKING SERIES/BOOKS. And Hermione and Ron were bound to be together. She COMPLETES HIMMM he is lost without her. UGH /rant ahem sorry. >.>
Shaun Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 Elizabeth Bennet/Mr. Darcy from Pride & Prejudice Indeed, good book, never seen the movie though Mickey and Mallory Knox from Natural Born Killers Morticia and Gomez of course John Carter and Dejah Thoris from the barsoom novels Rick and Ilsa from Cassablanca
Guest Megalicious Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 Sam and Jill- that first kiss scene. That small pause and the anticipation it fills me with every time I watch it. If we are talking real couples- Marie and Pierre Curie <3 love in and out of the lab....one can dream.
taysteewonderbunny Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 Benedick and Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing As written in the play? Or Kenneth Branagh and Emma Thompson in the film version in particular? Because I thought the latter were just brilliant; best portrayal I'd seen in any production.

Because I thought the latter were just brilliant; best portrayal I'd seen in any production. That did jump out at me... They picked very good actors for that adaptation (though Keanu Reeves still seemed a little out of place)
Guest Megalicious Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 we're not. Damnit! Sid and Nancy where a real couple- and Bonnie and Clyde (though movies/media made about them) I'm sure there was/is some Documentary or crappy B movie made about them *shakes fist*
