Mortal Kombat

I love the Mortal Kombat series more than most evangelicals love Jesus, and we picked up the new one through trading in games at Game Stop (We've been trying to figure out how we were going to afford it, but with game-trade in, it then becomes "free").

Not only is the new fighting engine RIDICULOUS (and I say that with full erection), but the x-ray views are amazing, the tag-team feature is innovative for the series, and best of all? The story line. Sure there are other fighting games with a "better" engine (and actually, after this release I would argue that), but nothing can compare to the brutal nihilistic depth that is the MK legacy.

My question...what is everyone's favorite character? I've had this conversation with many people, and for some reason always enjoy talking about it. I've always thought you can tell something about people through their preferences, so that's why I find it so interesting. It doesn't have to be "favorite", it can be a few, top three, etc.

Interesting Tarkatan trivia, because I'm mother fucking disgustingly obsessed with Baraka, Tarkatan leaders are chosen by intelligence, not brutality and strength, which is kind of odd considering the nature of their race.
