Maybe you can show up sometime, a little mini vaca. Many of us in GR drive over for events and CC, or down to Necto, I know it's TOTALLY not equal to GR, but it would be something different! Keep you eye on those travel sites for good hotel deals!

Fond memories of Reptile House. One of the first places I ever put a needle to a record. Saw plenty of great shows there as well from Cubanate to Spahn Ranch to Die Warzau to Rose Chronicles to TONS more. Was the place to go for shows when I went to school at Kalamazoo.

Not really cool as fuck and almost as dirty as City Club, yet for that side of the state it was cool.

Grand Rapids also used to have one of the greatest record stores on the planet in Vinyl Solution. Owner Herm owns another store, which is ok, but I went broke plenty of times at Vinyl Solution.
