DGN jam session

I'm down in OHIO but I would be down for an all DGN jam session.

there's a cat down here who has a barn that's laid out, and we do all day blues or rock festivals, is there anything like that up there?

I would be up for an open mike type thing, or something more organized where specific bands get to play

could someone organize that?

That's what I mean, there are TONS of musicians on here

not to mention other artists that could hang out: poets, and writers, and painters, and illustrators, and full blown whack-o-loons

I used to run an open jam...but unfortunately, the place closed...I don't know of any good open jams anymore, Fifth Avenue used to have a pretty decent one on Wednesday nights, but they couldn't get anyone in there, The Music Menu too, closed...keep me posted if you hear of one

i have been doing this for years...also have invited some people from the board to jam , and from the club...

i will be doing it again shortly...this time i guess i will make a post about it so any and all can come...

So I was talking with Cats Eye and we know this guy but its 45 Min N of me and I am already 20 Min N of downtown D. Its free, but outside may have to bring generator. Is clothing optional. Has a stage. Outhouses and pond with slide.

I'd be down with it but my musical talents rely on my computer, my Oxygen 8 and Reason 3.0 (which I can do ANYTHING with). Perhaps it should be on a weekend, and I'd need a place to crash cuz it's a 3 hour drive.

Just bring a tent and sleeping bag. Most of the stuff done on these grounds is weekend campout. I will not go nakey on stage.
