Now, after five years from my last stay, I got another chance for a trip to Detroit.

If everything goes as planned I will arrive in the beginning of August.

I 'm looking forward to see old friends and meet new ones.

That project is about electrification of commercial vehicles, it's just a case study nothing concrete.

I'm glad to flew for a few month from the BMW environment .

That actually sounds interesting honestly. What type of vehicles? Specialized , industry specific vehicles? What is the goal?

We are aiming to modify current packaging cars with an electric drive. The daily mileage doesn't differ much at this vehicles.

So, it's easier to lay-up the engine and battery dimensions than for passenger cars.

Yeah, work trips are way more busy than anticipated usually..

I always think I'm going to sight see when I'm on trips, but I rarely get out of the hotel/office environment.

Hey, I was curious about the title of your post Reise Reise (Travel Travel) ich kann ein bisschen Deutsch sprechen and as it turns out you are from Germany, anyways, I've just recently joined DGN and I'm kind of out of the club scene. My club days were back in the 1980s and 1990s. I like the Nietsche quote, I was once an avid reader of his books and he definitely was an influence in my intellectual development. Well, viel Gluck.

After one month of my return I found some time to visit DGN.

Well, I 've really enjoyed the company from DGN People who I could meet.

Unfortunately, I had not possibility to meet everyone.

Let's stay in contact
