I Have A Second Grade Homework Assigment Due

I kid you not on this. My second grader's teach has given all the kid's parents in her class a homework assignment due in tomorrow. Here is what it say on the paper my daughter brought home.

To help promote diversity and to help students appreciate individual differences, I am asking you to please complete this project for your child.

It's not a big deal but is she serious? I already passed second grade LOL! If I don't turn it is she going to take away my recess time? I think teachers given parents homework is just wrong somehow.

omg how rude .. dont parents have it hard enough helping kids whith there homework ? you actully have to do homework ! id protest. Carolyn is only two ..so I have a few years before it all hits me . dont even ask me to help her with math ..blah .. good luck !
