I use to live here when I first moved to Michigan. They think the guy was cooking on a gas stove, but when I lived there all the stoves where electric. I suspect something else.

My main problem with the release story is they mention the suspected "gas stove" as if the investigation stops there giving mainstream America a new fear of the gas stove (you know it's coming). Been gas stove'n it for many decades now (installing and utilizing) so sorry to say, but for me, the first thing that went through my head was makeshift meth lab...

last report I heard was that someone was trying to "process" hash oil from marijuana when the whole apartment went blooey.

That had to be one of the lamest news reports I've ever heard since the huge drug bust that occurred just outside Detroit... in Warren, Ohio.
