I drove around town close to my house most of the night playing ingress trying to forget it was christmas. But I don't wan't to begrudge anyone else an excuse to be cheerful. Me saying "merry christmas" is almost like a fish riding a bicycle, hah.

I'm just glad I survived another year intact, for the most part. Sometimes its hard but I remind myself that someone, whether we know them or not, actually loves me. The mere idea of that keeps me going, even if I wallow in self pity for a while. I think on that and find the strength to continue for one more minute, which turns into an hour, and then a day. I rejoice in that simple triumph. The simple fact that you guys are here and real is enough to make me happy to see your posts and comments, even if I don't always respond to them. That is why I say merry Christmas to you and GOD bless.
