I have to say, when I saw the last act, the FIRST thing that came to mind was Janis Joplin!  Then Howie said it.  I always wished I could sing like that.  I watched that performance like 10 times....

It's easy for adults to speculate about things after the fact, but when you are a child living in a situation that you have lived in all of your life, that is all you know.  You don't know there is anything wrong even when you feel like you wish things would change because you are tired of suffering, but you suffer because you believe that's what you are supposed to do.
