The main thing that jarred me watching this was once a person is eliminated, they are told to TAKE their weapon and leave.  On other shows I've seen, the contestant is asked to SURRENDER their weapon and please leave.  It felt like a slap to the face to me and I was only watching it.  I can't imagine how the person leaving must feel.
