My back is going out

:devil I do not know how many times I had told my boss that I had a back injury four years ago. Every day that asshole sits in his work van and has me or the other guy do jobs that require two or more people. Today he really pissed me off; he wanted me to move 1500 LBs of cement and steel within a half hour by myself! Istarted to move a manhole cover and cement blocks out of the way to get to a piece of angle iron. I proceeded to move the manhole cover and my back went out. I told myself this was the last straw; fuck him and the owner!!!

they don't want to pay me or the other guy more money an hour and pay no benifits! I hope I can get the hell out of this crappy job soon. I have got to find another very soon; DarkChylde knows exactly what I am going through; I will quit if I have something lined up already; Which is the right thing to do. DarkChylde told me a few weeks ago to get out; and I am trying too; but the economy sux!!

I just cannot risk another back injury again; I have no medical insurance whatsoever; and I know other people who do not have it either! I hope I can get somewhere soon before its too late.

If he continues to have you moving extremely heavy items by yourself and your back actually DID go out, then he has to give you time off work and you need to go through Workmen's Compensation to get it taken care of. It's not great and the comp won't be as much as a regular paycheck but you have to take care of yourself or you won't be able to work at all!

you could probably find a way to some money out of this guy since you were injured on the job....talk to lawyer. I know you think lawyers are scum but sometimes it takes a scumbag to get results from another scumbag.

i hate people suing over things they can avoid by not being a fuckin moron, but this twat. he deserves to be sued.

and sue for unfair dismissal if he sacks you

-Only thing is that they'll drug test you if you sue. Make sure and clean up for a month, before-hand. If they find any trace of MJ in your sytem, whatever injury you've sustained, you're company will be faultless in.
