What has been the single most helpful fitness "tip" or Concept for you? I'm very curious to hear any ideas.

"The best workout routine is the one you'll do."

I like to work out with DVDs. I don't have to leave the house and they usually push me enough to want to continue to work out.

Either, "Do what you can." or "Treat fitness like a drug addiction."

I used to not think that eating a donut was bad for me or having shitty food likea few times a week because I was always running and busy with work and going to school in my 20s. l rarely sat still. I kept the same habits into my 30s, and I wondered why I was always fat, I lost like 70 lbs 6 years ago and than slowly gained it back, some of us have hormones that hate us and cause things to go haywire in our bodies and what happens is because I am insulin resistant, everything I eat turns to sugar basically. So, all that time I'm loving sugary donuts and I couldn't stop so I just went on a complete fast and killed my sugar addiction. So, sugar..no sugar and increase the water intake, I was deprived.

This worked for me too!! Less sugar, more water.

Not advice, but a quote:

“I do not fear death. I had been dead for billions and billions of years before I was born, and had not suffered the slightest inconvenience from it.” - Mark Twain

That's brought me a lot of comfort.
