I wouldn't say that I am locked into working but the best word I can use to describe my work is "Frustrating".  Every time that they say that I will have a set schedule, they find some way to mess it up and switch my days around or simply take my days off away from me.  I had a helper for a few weeks there but he went back to his truck driving job.  He gave them a 3 week notice that he was leaving and they still didn't find me a helper or even schedule one of the cooks to help.  Saturday night I was by myself washing dishes with over 180 resos on the books and even more walk ins.  They had 4 bus boys, 8 servers, 6 cooks and a pastry chef on shift but they couldn't find me a helper.  If they start listening to me and find someone to help, I will try my best to get Thursdays off.  I just don't know when that will be.  I am also looking to get out of the restaurant business all  together.  I am hoping to find a metal working shop or something that will hire me and teach me the skill I would need.  I live in Novi so if anyone has some connections up here please hook me up.

Working on cards, both re-creations of The Gathering I cards  since I dunno WTF happened to them, I'll have them numbered as if they were the originals  and the G II ones ,  not that any more than like 3 people care , but it seems like a neat thing to me.   I'll give it like a month, if there isn't enough interest for me to keep doing them I'll probably just drop the idea because they aren't cheap (and they are time consuming.) and the money comes out of my pocket not DGN funds.

Who are the "they" that you're referring to? The Red Apple?  hehe  "Mind"  they can thank me.  That place is dead-ish 90% of the time.

I found the old Freddy Krueger glove claw thought about going crazy... But I need to lose like 10 more pounds before I can fit into this sweater. Plus I mean emergency situation no eyeliner exclamation point!

Maybe when I become  un-poor ,whenever the hell that is going to be I'll start working on a pinhead outfit.

Neat idea, and probably about time too.  However I have a suggestion that maybe it should alternate between two locations.  I belong to a group called the Michigan Oakland Wayne Fandom Organization (M.O.W.F.O.) which does a weekly sci-fi meetup on Mondays, alternating between The Redford Grill and a Ram's Horn off of Dequendre and 13.\

Technically it could alternate between even more, like the first Thursday of the month do Red Apple, then the second do something in Roseville, third Pontiac (assuming there are enough members around those locations with interest.  Anyone remember the DGN member map?)
