Does anyone know of any good canada club that is close to the border?

I have a few months till I hit 21, and I think a trip to a canadian club is in order for the meanwhile.

Also, what kind of paperwork do I need to cross the border?

Changes used to be the place to go when I was 19. I have no idea what its like now, or if its even still there. The Zebra room is decent, the place at least looks cool on the inside. The music isn't nearly as good the clubs in Detroit though. All you need is your driver's license and your birth certificate or passport.

When I turned 20, I didn't go to clubs. I would just make Dyno walk up to Liquor Island with me and buy me some Boone's Farm.

Ever heard of Blackthorn?

I've heard that MilkBar in Windsor serves absinthe which contains thujan from wormwood (not that abomination they administer at Mephistos which is just green and tastes like watered down ouzo).

I've been wanting to check out the scene at Milk Bar, myself.

I've heard that very soon this is changing so that only passports will be acceptable. It'd do everyone well who hasn't got one to get a passport, anyway.

Milk is a really nice place. They prepare the absinthe nicely, I was fascinated by the whole process. And the place itself looks really cool. It's more like a coffee bar that happens to serve alcohol as well.

Dragoth, as far as Canadian Bars go, Milk is definitely a cool place to check, also a place called The Loop (these are both places real canadians go).

There are other bars that are more mainstream tourist spots, like Jokers, Peppers and Beaches, which are the only ones that I really hit on the Oulette strip. That and Crazy Horse, nothing like 7 day a week karaoke!

As far as passport, that will be neccessary by 2007, so for right now, birth certificate and ID are still good. If you REALLY want to cross the border without a birth certificate, you can, but you will be put through customs, where they will run your ID, and your car will be thoroughly searched. Just warning you. It will probably take an 10 minutes extra to cross the border, add five minutes for each extra person in your car.
