Hello, I am 8BitDisaster. I'm a michigander who is into I guess the alternative culture. I don't like calling myself goth or punk but I guess I am. I love the music and love the fashion. I'm big into hard and fast music along with soft and dark, or any kind of simular combination. I also try to make my own clothea kind of, but yeah, cook site, fits me, so figured I'd join.

 We are a  pretty eclectic group not necessarily "gothic" although , you know... the place is called DGN.  But we are just generally (for the  most part) a little on the "outside" rather than gothic per se.  Everyone is pretty friendly / nice  (or they won't last long).   Been doing this thing for 15  years, so we have a few experiences with keeping the peace and getting rid of jerks.  

 

I'm not sure if you are free during the week but we have a weekly  Gathering on thursday nights super casual at a diner in wayne.  Although this next week we have both The Gathering 15 , and DGN Night at City Club.  

 

How did ya find us?

When you say wayne, do you mean the wayne county area? Because that sounds like it'll be cool to go too. And I found this site while googleing for a Michigan gothic scene and stores and all that fun stuff. And I myaelf am pretty nice and love forums. And thanks for the welcoming.

The Red Apple Restaurant is on Michigan Avenue in the city of Wayne. The Leland City Club is on Bagley Street in the city of Detroit.

Well I mean both, wayne county, but its also actually in the City of Wayne, Michigan. ("The Gathering" is)  DGN Night is at City Club in Detroit (also wayne county)  see the links in my above post (or just check the "nightlife" forum.  

 

Hopefully we can get you to throw your 2 cents in on a few topics around here *points all around* doesn't have to be shakespeare.  We are just people.
