Thinking about this in terms of The Gathering.

 

Friday and Saturday are out as one of the key ideas is this is to avoid conflicting with any club or "going out" nights as much as possible.

In that case Monday should be out too since it conflicts with Necto/Grasshopper.

Depending on the Tuesday that's out too for me, as I have a UNIX meetup every 2nd and an atheist meetup every 3rd.

Wednesday sucks because of Ohio, but that's all the way in BG.

Also why doesn't Sunday count?  The only club night that really goes on is Scrutable, which is monthly.

Anyway, it seems Thursday is the best option still.  But it doesn't matter too much to me.  I'll make things if I can.

 

Also moving the time might be a good idea too depending on the day, to minimize conflicts even further.
