Not enough people care is the main reason we are in the boat we are in. Even me, i have so few people that want to become educated about what is going on, That i just think/talk about it less than i otherwise would. People should think about it as a duty as a citizen to be educated not an option. Even just my intelligence is lower than it would be if more people cared about reality and/or academic subjects.

Well... yay evil trumpcare is dead. There is a push now for (almost) universal healthcare aka 'single payer' (lame confusing name) or 'meducare for all'. Like every other western country has had for ages. The private sector is just too greedy to offer affordable health care, despite decades old right wing misinformation. The rich just cant be trusted, thats been proven over and over and over. Thats why Ive moved away from my former libritarian thinking.

I'm glad it's dead. At least for now I can sleep a little easier. Until the next attempt at least.
