Poor teachers.   (Well PUBLIC SCHOOL teachers)  There is widespread verbal support for teachers but when it comes time to pay them people turn into ghosts.

I totally agree. I saw on the news just this last week that some teachers in Arizona are on strike because they are the lowest paid teachers in the US. It's sad.
