Ritual Night

 

In Darkness. Around, all around, the angels gather.
My dread grows as an avenging sword falls against my heart.
It severs me, and dreadfully my
blood drips to the thirsty earth.
In horror, I dance
while my doom approaches.
Now alone, my fervent plea falls upon uncaring eyes.
