TronRP Posted June 30, 2020 Author Posted June 30, 2020 I kinda wish they hadn't unbanned certain fireworks, specifically the ones that sound like bombs. The neighbors have been setting them off since the beginning of June. Now they were just out there shooting rockets after vehicles that were leaving the block. Maybe they were upset at those individuals who were taking off...who knows with them.

TronRP Posted June 30, 2020 Author Posted June 30, 2020 I'm getting a bit of a late start today...so anything I do outside will have to be work in the shade or short timeframes in the sun.
NocteSpiritus Posted June 30, 2020 Posted June 30, 2020 How fast the laptop is working (new tabs loading and what not) after doing a quick dusting inside the computer. Yes, I used one of the compressed air cans. Yes, I used it in the heat exhaust BEFORE taking most (missed one) of the screws out to used said compressed air inside the laptop. The real tests will be once I get The Old Republic up and running and the video editing software running. Not at the same time, but yeah.
kat (1) Posted July 2, 2020 Posted July 2, 2020 This apartment is weird lol. It's my first night here. The ladies swim in the Detroit River and have a pool ladder going into the water. They said it's about 13 feet just right there...I think I am going to jump in the river tomorrow with them as hot as it's going to be.

It does sound like a good way to cool off as the temperatures will be in the 90s for the next few days. kat 1
kat (1) Posted July 2, 2020 Posted July 2, 2020 I love it. Laying in front of the window listening to the boats blowing the horns..something very zen about it.

Holidays are the only time of the year that Detroit is not scary to out-of-towners. Holidays and Sporting events... Edited July 2, 2020 by TronRP

You will have to park a mile or 2 away and huff it in to the main parts of the city. Now if you want to take some pictures in Midtown, there is a better chance of you actually being able to move around there. You can take the Q-Line close enough to get on the People Mover and get around the city that way as well. Edited July 2, 2020 by TronRP

Cobo's parking might be open if I drive; but I usually grab the bus (don't mind taking) and don't mind using the QLine.

TronRP Posted July 3, 2020 Author Posted July 3, 2020 Since I'm planning on working in the alley, hopefully there is enough shade as the sun has already passed overhead.
TronRP Posted July 3, 2020 Author Posted July 3, 2020 I hope @kat managed to have some fun by cooling off in the Detroit River. 😁 kat 1

I may do it..I just may. I'm still gathering things that I need to make this place look homie. It's a work in progress. Lol
kat (1) Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 There's the pool ladder lol. It's tripping me out. I don't think anyone should swim in this but we swam at Belle Isle as kids. It's the same water so it could be ok......... probably not though 🤷♀️ I mean we already have flying snakes, flesh eating bacteria and the plaque happening I probably shouldn't add to it.

I was going to suggest that you make sure to wash off after you get out of the water, but that actually looks sketchy. It could be slippery as all get out too. kat 1

Oh yea those rocks probably are..I know the Detroit River is polluted as hell too. I'll end up with an extra pair of ears or something looking like the Toxic Avenger. TronRP Posted July 7, 2020 Author Posted July 7, 2020 Interesting...the virus quarantine was lifted just in time to suffer from heat stroke...
TronRP Posted July 9, 2020 Author Posted July 9, 2020 This next survey is going to be an interesting one as I received a box of crushed goods.
