Someone would be very disappointed trying to package grab off of our front porch this holiday season.  But hey, who knows, someone might enjoy the gift of Cheerios.

Why do they keep changing software settings behind the scenes?  This is really getting annoying.  Now I have to reinstall my ethernet adaptor.

Wow, Windows 11 is getting aggressive with its forcefulness at trying to smother out Windows 10.

Took a few hours and a motherboard total reset, but I'm back to a basic format functional setup.

 

Gonna worry about the rest of this later.

Although my SSD is repaired, I'm still skeptical.  I will be backing everything up in multiple physical locations and on various media types.

 

The "System" truly knows how to create paranoia.

Apparently, these days, not many techs are still around who used to repair hard drives.  I'm definitely going to look into doing that.

My Ambien CR is not working as well as it used to.

This is the main problem I have with the holiday season and back to back observances:  So many traditions coupled with so much expectation while trying to handle regular responsibilities together with holiday hosting.

 

And you can't complain because regardless of how everything goes, that will be the only thing you are remembered for during the next holiday season for the following 3 years.  Then you get a do over and remember to keep your mouth shut going forward.
